Must be detail oriented, punctual and possess friendly personality, quick to respond to work situations and have common sense, be willing to follow instructions and learn.

Assisting doctor with knowledgeable instrumentation skills, greeting and seating patients with friendly and professional patient care, taking digital x-rays, sterilizing instruments, breaking down, cleaning and preparing rooms for next patient, coronal polishing.

In this practice, you will help the doctor build a loyal clientele through outstanding customer service.
We are seeking someone who wants to grow, learn every aspect of patient care, and then help train as we continue to add staff and grow. Previous experience in optical/eye care is not necessary, but very helpful.
Strong organizational skills, great interpersonal skills, desire to serve patients, attention to DETAIL, computer competency, and RELIABILITY are necessary.
This position is multi-faceted in job duties. These duties may include:
- Optical dispensary duties (sales, frame selection, inventory management, measuring, repair, orders, follow-up phone calls)- Patient reception and front desk duties (interpersonal skills, phone skills , data entry, appointment setting, etc)- Optometric technician duties: pretesting, contact lens training- Patient retention (recall and reactivation postcard mailings, recall phone follow-up, and patient tracking systems)- Office coordinator (patient scheduling and practice marketing activities)- Accounts receivable / Billing
